ENIGMA is the museum of communication. A modern museum, bringing the past into the present with exhibitions, childrens area and workshops.
ENIGMA aims to provide a great experience for all guests. Groups of more than 10 people visiting the museum independently are kindly asked to notify the museum at least 3 days in advance to ensure there is enough space in the exhibitions. Register your group visit
Backpacks, large bags, and umbrellas are not allowed in the exhibitions. Lockable lockers are available in the cloakroom for storing bags and outerwear.
It is not permitted to eat or drink in ENIGMA’s exhibition areas. The museum has a designated dining area where visitors are welcome to enjoy their own food. This area is available to all guests and cannot be reserved. You’re also invited to visit Brasserie Post, which has direct access from the museum. During the summer months, the brasserie's cozy courtyard is open to guests.
It is free to bring an accompanying person to ENIGMA upon presentation of a companion card from the Danish Disability Organizations. The entire museum is wheelchair accessible, and service dogs are welcome. Accessible restrooms are available both on the ground floor and on the museum's first floor.
For reasons of space and safety, it is not permitted to bring prams into the museum's exhibition areas. Strollers are welcome throughout the museum.
Photography is allowed at ENIGMA. However, photography for commercial use, as well as the use of tripods, flash, and additional lighting, requires special permission.
The M3 City Ring metro line stops right in front of ENIGMA at Trianglen Station. Bus lines 1A and 14 also have stops close to the museum. Parking is available on public streets in accordance with Copenhagen Municipality regulations. You can park on Øster Allé and along Blegdamsvej. Remember to download a parking app to pay for your parking.
The brasserie offers a selection of favorites for both children and adults. It has direct access from the museum, making it easy to stop by during your visit. In the summer months, the brasserie's cozy courtyard is open to guests.
ENIGMA is located in the middle of Østerbro in Copenhagen with Fælledparken as a backyard, the cozy Brumleby as a neighbor, and a quick walk from the lakes at Sortedams Dosseringen.
