ENIGMA is the museum of communication. A modern museum, bringing the past into the present with exhibitions, childrens area and workshops.
You can visit ENIGMA's shop without buying a ticket for the museum.
Backpacks, large bags and umbrellas are prohibited in ENIGMA's exhibition areas. In the wardrobe there are lockable boxes for storing bags and outerwear.
It is not permitted to eat or drink in the exhibition areas. However, ENIGMA has a eating area where you can enjoy brought food. The area is available to all our guests and cannot be booked. For refreshments, you can also visit Brasserie Post with direct access from the museum. During the summer months the outside courtyard is open for service.
ENIGMA has something for the curious, for the playful, the childish, the serious and the complacent. There is something for children and for those who still feel like children. Read more about children and families
You are welcome to take photographs at ENIGMA. Photography for commercial use as well as the use of a tripod, flash and additional lighting requires special permission.
Persons who are accompanying handicapped visitors have free entrance to ENIGMA. The entire museum is wheelchair accessible and service dogs are welcome. Accessible toilets are available both on the ground floor and on the museum's first floor.
Metro line M3 Cityringen stops right in front of ENIGMA on Trianglen St. Bus lines 1A and 14 both stop near the museum. Parking takes place on public roads according to Copenhagen Municipality's rules. You can park on Øster Allé and along Blegdamsvej. Remember to download an app to pay for parking.
ENIGMA is located in the middle of Østerbro in Copenhagen with Fælledparken as a backyard, the cozy Brumleby as a neighbor, and a quick walk from the lakes at Sortedams Dosseringen. The museum is the obvious starting point for a day in Østerbro. Check out a Copenhagen Travel Guide here.
